Today is a great day, yesterday I was able to announce that I am releasing an application to allow DJs to update the years and genres for their tracks.
This Application will be available for both Windows and Mac, I am doing some testing now and very soon the Application will be available to all of you. Heres a screenshot of it:
It’s very simple and thats all we need. You select a folder you want to scan, then you click one of the three buttons on the screen. The bottom button “Populate year and Genre” is obviously the most important one!
This will be the first iteration, then over time I am going to add more and more tools to help DJs organise their Music Library.

Nice stuff. Is it now available and what are the terms. Also, does it only update the serato Metadata or the songs Metadata will also be visible in say iTunes .
